FINANCIAL AID
FAFSA
How do I apply for Financial Aid?
Applying for financial aid and applying for admission to Salem College are separate processes.
For the Financial Aid Office to determine your eligibility for need-based assistance, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). File the FAFSA as soon as you think about attending Salem College.
The easiest way to apply for financial aid is to go FAFSA on the Web online.

Work Study
Where can I do work study?
Check out this link for possible work-study positions!
Work study is available when you get on campus. You cannot apply for a work study job until classes start.
Is work study applied to my bill?
No. Work-study is an opportunity to earn money while attending Salem College. You are paid as you earn money, just as in any job. Because the Business Office has no guarantee that you will earn this money or that earnings will be turned over to pay charges, the work-study authorization is not subtracted from your bill. You and your parents will need to be prepared to pay this difference. If you work regularly, you can expect to earn money on a monthly basis.
